Current Vacancies
Field Based: Collecting pea samples from fields to be tested on-site with the advanced team – this helps the planners to organise which fields are ready for harvest and when.
Location: Hull (HU3)
Shift pattern: 7-day early morning rota
Field Assistant
Season: End of May- End Aug
Pay: £12.42 per hour
Field Sampler (must have valid UK driving license)
Season: Mid June-Mid Aug
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Van bonus to be paid at the end of the season upon inspection of the vehicle
On-site Birds Eye: Running samples from the field, and samples from the wagons after harvesting. QA checks on supply being processed on-site by GXO.
Location: Hull (HU3)
Shift pattern: Crew rota (3 crews) working 2 days, 2 nights, 2 off on 12 hour shifts 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
Advanced Field Sampling/Mini Viner Operative
Season: Mid June- Mid Aug
Pay: £11.44 – £12.42 per hour
Intake Team Leader/Team Member/Kitchen Quality Assessor/Quality Assessor Admin
Season: Mid June- Mid Aug
Pay: £11.44 – £12.42 per hour
Season bonus of 50p per hour to be paid end of season if attendance is adhered to
Office Based: working on-site in the office with the Birds Eye team. Tracking farmers and wagons, updating the field teams and coordinating the start/stop of vining/intake and tipping of the peas.
Location: Hull (HU3)
Shift pattern: Rota including days/afternoons/nights in a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts that will include weekends
Season: Mid June-Mid Aug
Pay: £11.44-£13.96 per hour

GXO Logistics job opportunities
All are based on-site. Some pre-season training is to be completed and some require assessments during induction.
Some staff are responsible for the cleaning/processing/quality assessments of all peas being processed. Others are responsible for the end-of-line operation, boxing and labelling and relocating pallets to the cold stores

Pay: £11.44 – £14.92 per hour
