Reflecting on Your Journey: Five Years at Stafforce

Reflecting on your five years at Stafforce, what initially drew you to the company, and how has your role evolved since then?

Having worked in recruitment for over 15 years, primarily with three major recruitment conglomerates, I was drawn to Stafforce due to its family feel and ambitious nature, a stark contrast to being just a tiny cog in a huge wheel. I had been aware of Stafforce for a while and had supplied temporary labour to me in a previous role. I initially joined as the Sheffield Business Manager, then spent two years managing the Bradford branch, and in November 2023, I returned to manage Sheffield and from January 2024 started managing the South Yorkshire Hub.

Memorable Moments and Achievements at Stafforce

Can you share some memorable moments or achievements from your time at Stafforce that stand out to you?

My greatest moments at work have always been related to solving a problem or creating a solution for a customer. Creative thinking, outside-the-box solutions, and ensuring our product or service solves a problem for someone is critical. One client I worked with 5 years ago was Marcegaglia, where we exclusively supplied their temporary workers. This boosted the gross profit for Sheffield by £3500 per week and we still have them as a client to this day.

There have been so many memorable moments, which makes me smile remembering them all. From the wider businesses annual conferences to team sales incentives to working with colleagues from the wider Nicholas Associates Group and building close relationships. I have been so fortunate to have managed and worked with so many talented, fun-loving and genuine people. They have all made a positive impact on my time here at Stafforce and continue to do so.

What do you find most rewarding about working at Stafforce, and how has this contributed to your longevity with the company?

The most rewarding aspect of working at Stafforce is the close-knit, supportive team and the company’s commitment to personal and professional growth. The family-feel atmosphere and the opportunity to make a real impact have significantly contributed to my longevity with the company. The chance to grow and develop in such a nurturing environment has kept me motivated and dedicated.

How has Stafforce supported your professional development and career goals over the past five years?

Stafforce has provided numerous opportunities for professional development, including training programmes, mentorship, and career advancement opportunities. The company’s commitment to employee growth has allowed me to expand my skills and take on new challenges, such as managing different branches and leading diverse teams.

Can you share some insights into the culture and values at Stafforce and how they have influenced your approach to work?

The culture at Stafforce is rooted in teamwork, integrity, and ambition. These values have greatly influenced my approach to work by fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to contribute and succeed. The emphasis on integrity ensures that we maintain high ethical standards in all our dealings, which builds trust and long-term relationships with our clients, candidates and internal candidates.

Future Goals and Aspirations at Stafforce

What are your personal and professional goals and aspirations for the future within Stafforce?

Looking ahead, my goals include continuing to drive growth and success for the South Yorkshire Hub, mentoring new team members, and expanding our client base. I aspire to further develop my leadership skills and take on more strategic responsibilities within Stafforce, contributing to the overall direction and success of the company.

Personal Significance of the Work Anniversary

Finally, what does this anniversary mean to you personally and what does the future for Claire’s career look like?

This anniversary is a significant milestone for me, symbolising five years of growth, learning, and achievements at Stafforce. It represents the strong relationships I’ve built and the successes we’ve accomplished as a team. Looking to the future, I am excited about continuing my journey with Stafforce, taking on new challenges, and contributing to the company’s ongoing success. The future looks bright, with many opportunities for further personal and professional growth.
